NMTS Ride Schedule

NOTE: In addition to these one time rides, the club has recurring rides most days of the week. To view them, choose the "Weekly Rides" link in the menu at your left.
Pace is the speed, plus or minus one, that will be maintained on flat terrain with no wind. Distance refers to miles traveled in a day; on multi-day rides it refers to total miles for the trip, and a daily average is calculated from that.
Rides with a light-green background occur over multiple days
HELMETS CSPC, Snell or ANSI Approved Helmets are REQUIRED for all NMTS rides.
EBIKES Class 1 E-bikes are welcome where conditions allow, and at the ride leader's discretion. Class 2 and Class 3 E-bikes are not permitted on NMTS rides.

Beat-the-heat mountain (mostly) bike ride. Starts 6:00 am. Approx total time 2 hours. This is a challenging ride, for intermediate to advanced mountain bike riders.

Starts and ends at the John B. Robert dam parking lot, on Juan Tabo Blvd (near Osuna Rd.). It’s about 45 minutes of climbing, then 45 minutes of single track, then 30 flat/downhill minutes.

Starts with a strenuous 4 mile climb east up into the foothills. Then goes north for about 5 miles of mixed single track trails, with some fast parts and many challenging/technical rocky parts. Then goes west for 1 mile steep downhill, to Tramway Blvd. Then goes 4 miles south on the paved Tramway Blvd hike/bike trail. Then goes 1 mile west down the dirt trail back to the parking lot.

Please text me if you are going, 505-392-9216. Bring sufficient water. I want to start at 6:00 am sharp, thanks!
