NMTS Ride Schedule

NOTE: In addition to these one time rides, the club has recurring rides most days of the week. To view them, choose the "Weekly Rides" link in the menu at your left.
Pace is the speed, plus or minus one, that will be maintained on flat terrain with no wind. Distance refers to miles traveled in a day; on multi-day rides it refers to total miles for the trip, and a daily average is calculated from that.
Rides with a light-green background occur over multiple days
HELMETS CSPC, Snell or ANSI Approved Helmets are REQUIRED for all NMTS rides.
EBIKES Class 1 E-bikes are welcome where conditions allow, and at the ride leader's discretion. Class 2 and Class 3 E-bikes are not permitted on NMTS rides.

This is a beat-the-heat, get the blood going, before work (for me), 1.5 hour mountain (mostly) bike ride. Starts and ends at the John B. Robert dam parking lot, on Juan Tabo Blvd near Osuna Rd. Starts at 6:00 am.

This is for intermediate or better mountain bike riders. It’s about 30 minutes of climbing, then 30 minutes of single track, then 30 flat/downhill minutes.

Initial 3 mile strenuous climb up into the foothills. Then goes around High Desert and north for 5 miles along foothills single track trails, including some fast parts and some challenging/technical parts, to the road that leads up to the tram. Then short steep downhill to Tramway Blvd. Then 5 miles south on the flat paved Tramway Blvd. hike/bike trail. Then 1 mile west down the dirt trail back to the parking lot.

If you plan to go, please text me, 505-392-9216. I cannot start later because I need to get back home for work.
