The Oklahoma Freewheel will have a different venue for the 2024 ride. The ride will be for 5 days as a loop instead of 7 days point to point. The ride will start and end at Pawhuska, Oklahoma. The overnight stops will be Pawnee, Perkins, Prague, and Drumright, Oklahoma. The first half basically goes South from Pawhuska to Prague. The route then basically turns North to Drumright, then returning to Pawhuska. Total mileage is approximately 245. I will be doing the first half which ends at Prague. Mileage for the first half is approximately 139. Overnight stays are camping, indoor camping, or hotels. For more information and registration go to oklahomafreewheel.com website. Pawhuska is the location for the movie, Killer of the Flower Moon which is about the Osage Indian killings for their oil rights. It is where the Pioneer Woman does her cooking shows as well. Mileage is shorter, less days, and not as hilly! Should be an interesting ride, the website has info about each host town.
