Come on out and continue an NMTS tradition, begun by long-time NMTS member Pete Stirbis. Start the New Year on deserted streets while others are recovering from too much partying. We’ll go south on Unser, west on Tierra Pintada, south on 98th Street, west on Central up 9 Mile Hill to Atrisco Vista, and then west on old Route 66 (I-40 frontage road) to Rio Puerco. Don’t forget to take a look at the hubcap Christmas tree at the Enchanted Trails RV Park on the way to a stop for hot chocolate at the Route 66 Pit Stop travel center and return by the same route. The specific route is available at https://ridewithgps.com/routes/4674556 . A route with an alternate return, which heads north on Atrisco Vista Blvd and by Double Eagle Airport, is available at https://ridewithgps.com/routes/41532572 .
