NMTS Ride Schedule

NOTE: In addition to these one time rides, the club has recurring rides most days of the week. To view them, choose the "Weekly Rides" link in the menu at your left.
Pace is the speed, plus or minus one, that will be maintained on flat terrain with no wind. Distance refers to miles traveled in a day; on multi-day rides it refers to total miles for the trip, and a daily average is calculated from that.
Rides with a light-green background occur over multiple days
HELMETS CSPC, Snell or ANSI Approved Helmets are REQUIRED for all NMTS rides.
EBIKES Class 1 E-bikes are welcome where conditions allow, and at the ride leader's discretion. Class 2 and Class 3 E-bikes are not permitted on NMTS rides.

Join us for a ride the NMTS Picnic at 3 PM on Sunday, September 3rd, at Old Town Farm.

The full ride will start at the Flying Star at 1:30 but there are some options for a later start and shorter ride.

Start 2 would meet at the intersection of Tramway Road and Tramway Blvd at 2:00.

Start 3 will be at the Alameda Open Space Parking lot, near the bike rack at approximately 2:30. From here it is a flat 8 mile ride to the picnic where we should arrive around 3:00. Starting from the open space you could have a 16 mile round trip entirely on trails.

We will have our picnic in the barn at Old Town Farm; the barn is just west of the Bike In Coffee building. The barn has shade and plenty of tables to relax, eat, drink, and visit. The Club will provide the food and drink for the picnic.

The picnic is open to all NMTS members.

PLEASE RSVP if you plan to attend, NO LATER THAN Tuesday, August 29th; the point of contact is Dianne Cress at treasurer@nmts.org or 505-294-2928.

A [Route Map and Cue Sheet are available here](https://ridewithgps.com/routes/44083519) . To get a traditional Cue sheet, click on the "More" box near the top left of the map page, then select "Print Map & Cue PDF."
