NMTS Ride Schedule

NOTE: In addition to these one time rides, the club has recurring rides most days of the week. To view them, choose the "Weekly Rides" link in the menu at your left.
Pace is the speed, plus or minus one, that will be maintained on flat terrain with no wind. Distance refers to miles traveled in a day; on multi-day rides it refers to total miles for the trip, and a daily average is calculated from that.
Rides with a light-green background occur over multiple days
HELMETS CSPC, Snell or ANSI Approved Helmets are REQUIRED for all NMTS rides.
EBIKES Class 1 E-bikes are welcome where conditions allow, and at the ride leader's discretion. Class 2 and Class 3 E-bikes are not permitted on NMTS rides.

THE SUNFLOWERS ARE BLOOMING!!! Join us on this "reverse Heartbreak Hill" East Mountain ride while we enjoy the peaking of the sunflower blooms. We'll start in the southwest corner of the Smith's parking lot located near I40 and Tramway. We'll proceed east through the canyon on Old 66 with our first resupply point at The Sedillo Hill Travel Center (mile 14). We'll work our way towards the Frost road via Sedillo Hill road, Meadow drive,

and Vallecitos. Continuing east on Frost Road, we'll turn north on Hwy 344 through Cedar Grove and dropping down Heartbreak Hill to Hwy North 14. At North 14 we'll turn south with a second resupply stop at the Shell station in Sandia Park (mile 46). Finally we'll continue south on North 14, turning west on Old Hwy 66 and returning to the Smith's (mile 59). [Route map](https://ridewithgps.com/routes/43969250)
