NMTS Ride Schedule

NOTE: In addition to these one time rides, the club has recurring rides most days of the week. To view them, choose the "Weekly Rides" link in the menu at your left.
Pace is the speed, plus or minus one, that will be maintained on flat terrain with no wind. Distance refers to miles traveled in a day; on multi-day rides it refers to total miles for the trip, and a daily average is calculated from that.
Rides with a light-green background occur over multiple days
HELMETS CSPC, Snell or ANSI Approved Helmets are REQUIRED for all NMTS rides.
EBIKES Class 1 E-bikes are welcome where conditions allow, and at the ride leader's discretion. Class 2 and Class 3 E-bikes are not permitted on NMTS rides.

Starting at Alameda Open Space parking lot, this route heads west through town to climb up to the West Mesa and stop at Double Eagle Airport. After the break, leave the Airport and head south on Atrisco Vista Blvd, cross I-40, and then turn left on Dennis Chavez Blvd. After a nice descent off the West Mesa, cross Coors Blvd, where the road becomes Rio Bravo Blvd. Turn north at Isleta Blvd but soon turn off onto La Vega, a residential street just west of the river. This part of the route features a stop at the "pot plant" on La Vega. Continuing north, turn right on Bridge Blvd to cross the river and then turn right again to head north on the Riverside Trail / Bosque Trail. At the intersection with Alcalde Pl SW, turn onto Tingley Dr briefly to reach the sidewalk leading to Laguna Dr. Ride around the Country Club to reach Rio Grande Blvd and then ride north to Alameda Blvd and the starting point at Alameda Open Space parking lot.
