NMTS Ride Schedule

NOTE: In addition to these one time rides, the club has recurring rides most days of the week. To view them, choose the "Weekly Rides" link in the menu at your left.
Pace is the speed, plus or minus one, that will be maintained on flat terrain with no wind. Distance refers to miles traveled in a day; on multi-day rides it refers to total miles for the trip, and a daily average is calculated from that.
Rides with a light-green background occur over multiple days
HELMETS CSPC, Snell or ANSI Approved Helmets are REQUIRED for all NMTS rides.
EBIKES Class 1 E-bikes are welcome where conditions allow, and at the ride leader's discretion. Class 2 and Class 3 E-bikes are not permitted on NMTS rides.

The weather forecast is ominous- I'm opting not to do this ride. Looks not fun, & could be dangerous. Anyone who does part or all of the ride, please email or text me your miles and I'll report them to mileage chair.

The NMLEMR is back!!

Really fun ride that supports local law enforcement. Starting downtown we’ll have a police-escort all the way to the city limits entering Tijeras Canyon. Rest & regroup at the Tijeras Substation with breakfast burritos and other snacks. Then follow the Turquoise Trail north all the way to Santa Fe and free lunch. There are several refreshment/rest-room stops along the route. Return to downtown ABQ via Rail Runner. Free Tee-shirt included with registration.

From the ride website: “The NM Law Enforcement Memorial Ride is a fundraising cycling event on August 20, 2022, that pays tribute the New Mexico Law Enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. The event begins in downtown Albuquerque and travels north 100 kilometers (64 miles) to the NM State Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Santa Fe, NM. Along the route the participants pass six locations where seven officers have given their lives in the line of duty. (A 30k event is also available for those who would like to participate in a much shorter ride.)”
