NMTS Ride Schedule

Day 1 January 18, 2022 Road Ride 10:00 am start east parking lot of Fountain Lake will be a long scenic loop starting at the east parking lot of Fountain Lake in Fountain Hills, AZ. The route is 56 miles with 3,100 feet of climbing. To enjoy this ride cyclists should be comfortable maintaining an 18mph pace in a paceline on flat roads. There will be rest/potty stops every 15 miles or so and the ride circles the McDowell Mountain range making its way through Scottsdale then back to Fountain Hills. There will be many turns through heavily trafficked roads in Scottsdale but all are cycling routes and have good bike shoulders to ride. Cohesive paceline riding will be important for everyone to enjoy this ride and no riders will be left behind because of mechanical problems. Day 2 January 19, 2022 Road Ride 10:00 am start at east parking lot of Fountain Lake will be a 35 mile out and back to Paradise Valley

Day 3 January 20, 2022 Road Ride 9:00 am start at east parking lot of Fountain Lake will be a 20 mile loop around the town of Fountain Hills on the last day, January 20 which will leave time to travel back to Albuquerque after.
