This is the traditional Thursday Crest ride. The full route is from the Smith's at Tramway and Central to the top of Sandia Crest for a 60 mile round trip. Alternative start locations are in the town of Tijeras (46 miles round trip), and the triangle at the intersection of North 14 and NM 536 (27 miles round trip). Turning around at any point on the ride is also a possibility so the distance traveled is up to the rider. It is a challenging and very scenic ride.
