NMTS Ride Schedule

NOTE: In addition to these one time rides, the club has recurring rides most days of the week. To view them, choose the "Weekly Rides" link in the menu at your left.
Pace is the speed, plus or minus one, that will be maintained on flat terrain with no wind. Distance refers to miles traveled in a day; on multi-day rides it refers to total miles for the trip, and a daily average is calculated from that.
Rides with a light-green background occur over multiple days
HELMETS CSPC, Snell or ANSI Approved Helmets are REQUIRED for all NMTS rides.
EBIKES Class 1 E-bikes are welcome where conditions allow, and at the ride leader's discretion. Class 2 and Class 3 E-bikes are not permitted on NMTS rides.

We will start at the UNM Observatory Parking Lot. We will head north on the North Diversion Channel (NDC) Trail, west on the Paseo Del Norte Trail to Rio Grade Blvd. North to Alameda Road. Then via the normal route to 4th Street and north on NM 313. At the first red light in Bernalillo we go east to South Hill Road. Then right at US 550. US 550 turns into NM 165. At this point you can climb to the end of the pavement (9 miles from I-25) to do the full ride or turn around when you have had enough climbing. The rest stop is at the Placitas Cafe. Return to the start via the same course. Send me your mileage if you do not see me at the end of the ride. A queue sheet will be provided.
