NMTS Ride Schedule
NOTE: In addition to these one time rides, the club has recurring rides most days of the week. To view them, choose the "Weekly Rides" link in the menu at your left.
Pace is the speed, plus or minus one, that will be maintained on flat terrain with no wind. Distance refers to miles traveled in a day; on multi-day rides it refers to total miles for the trip, and a daily average is calculated from that.
Rides with a light-green background occur over multiple days
HELMETS CSPC, Snell or ANSI Approved Helmets are REQUIRED for all NMTS rides.
EBIKES Class 1 E-bikes are welcome where conditions allow, and at the ride leader's discretion.
Class 2 and Class 3 E-bikes are not permitted on NMTS rides.

This will be an alternate to Day 2 of Will Ferrel’s Phoenix in January Ride. It will be a no drop medium paced, 54 mile loop ride with about 3000 feet of climbing. To enjoy this ride you should be comfortable holding a 17mph pace on the flats in a paceline. The ride will start at Golden Eagle Park in fountain Hills, AZ and circle the McDowell Mountain range going through Scottsdale, over to Rio Verde and back to Fountain Hills. There are several parks with restrooms about every 15 miles we will stop at to take breaks and regroup. Lunch after the ride will be at the American Grill in Fountain Hills. Great pub with a nice variety of food and drink including burgers and beer.
