Eight day tour along the Erie Canal. This ride covers the 400 miles from Buffalo to Albany largely along the tow paths of the Erie Canal, the canal that connected the Hudson river to the Great Lakes. Fully supported, the registration fees cover camp sites, most breakfasts and dinners, gear transportation, and sag support. The canal ride starts July 7 in Buffalo, and ends July 14 in Albany. An optional 50 mile ride to Niagara Falls will take place on July 6. A bicycle is the best way to see the falls.
