The Enchanted Circle Ride is one of the best rides in New Mexico. The ride starts in Taos and goes to Questa and Red River before returning. There are two high climbs on the ride. Palo Flechado Pass and Bobcat Pass.
Distance: 84.4 miles, 5,763 ft. elevation gain.Getting There: This ride begins in the center of Taos. You can park in the Plaza or at Kit Carson Park.
Roadway: Mostly 2-lane with light traffic. US 64 east of town does not have a shoulder!
Notes: There are stores in Eagle Nest, Red River and Questa.
