Attention Mountain Bikers. Beginning June 30, 2008, ALL of the Sandia Ranger District on the Cibola National Forest will be in Stage III restrictions. Back country areas and trails in the Sandias and East Mountains are closed to all users. Exceptions: the Foothills 365 Trail and Sandia Ski area trails are open. See the maps.
So far, the Santa Fe National Forest, including the Jemez, is open.

ANSI Approved Helmets are Required for All Rides

 
The New Mexico Touring Society is a bicycling club of recreational riders of all ages and abilities, from beginners to experts and families. Volunteers sponsor one-day and multi-day road and mountain bike rides. Check out our ride schedule to participate in one of our rides or come to one of our monthly meetings to meet us.
League of American Bicyclists The NMTS is an affiliate of the League of American Bicyclists.
Monthly Meetings are held the 3rd Monday of January through November at 7pm.
