The 2 Days of Gunnison 2 Ride has been moved to September 11.
The July Freewheel is in the Members Only Area for download.
The 2010 Will Pedal for Food Ride netted 426 pounds of food and $1,675 for a grand total of 11,761 pounds. Despite cold and winds 33 riders participated.

Bike Boxes
Albuquerque is experimenting with "Bike Boxes" in 5 intersections including MLK at Edith and Pennsylvania at Comanche. The boxes eliminate vehicle "right on red" where they are supposed to wait behind the cyclists.

Approved Helmets are Required for All NMTS Rides



The New Mexico Touring Society is a bicycling club of recreational riders of all ages and abilities, from beginners to experts and families. Volunteers sponsor one-day and multi-day road and mountain bike rides. Check out our ride schedule to participate in one of our rides or come to one of our monthly meetings to meet us.

LAB Club of the Year 2009 The NMTS is an affiliate of the League of American Bicyclists.

Monthly Meetings are held the 3rd Monday of January through November at 7pm.
